On 11 October 2025, over 800 children, parents, and educators gathered at the Singapore Institute of Management Sports Hall for the Kinderland and ELFA Sports Fiesta. The event offered an engaging platform for families to connect, play, and celebrate learning through physical activities.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Singapore\u2019s first Olympic Gold Medallist and Kinderland alumnus, Joseph Schooling, delivered the opening address. He reminded participants that sports \u201cisn\u2019t only about medals or competition \u2014 it is about family, resilience, teamwork, and joy<\/em><\/strong>,\u201d inspiring attendees to pursue their goals with passion and perseverance.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The Fiesta began with a performance by Kinderland Marching Band and Colour Guard, featuring children from Academy @ Yio Chu Kang, Preschool @ Marine Parade, and Preschool @ Pandan Valley. This year also marked the 15th anniversary<\/strong> of the Marching Band programme, which continues to nurture discipline, collaboration, and confidence in young learners.<\/p>\n<\/div>

To kick off the event, families joined a lively KinderFit warm-up before exploring activities for all ages. Toddlers enjoyed Tiny Friends Parachute Play and Happy Todds Quest, while older children competed in the Donut-Run Relay and Mighty Rollers Relay. All-time favourites included the Parachute Party, Dance Jam, Family Leap, and Tug of War.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The highlight of the day was the preschool gymnastic formations led by JACPA instructors Ms Motoyama Mitsuzu and Mr Sakurai Shun, featuring poses like sushi, peacock, and airplane.\u00a0 JACPA is Japan\u2019s largest provider of physical education for preschoolers.<\/p>\n
