Our carefully curated selection of stories enables children to pick up Mandarin and learn moral values through lessons in a culture-rich environment. ELFA preschoolers celebrate and learn about Chinese festivals such as Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, on top of the usual local festivals celebrated in Singapore. Chinese Learning Programmes
ELFA children attend creative lessons like Chinese-inspired art classes, learning art forms such as calligraphy, Chinese opera mask painting and traditional paper-cutting crafts. The young ones learn to appreciate Chinese culture while working on their fine motor skills, strengthening their attention span, and enhancing their sense of aesthetics. Additionally, children are exposed to cultural activities like Chinese speech and drama, tea appreciation and creative writing. Moreover, our preschoolers undertake the HSK-YCT paper at Kindergarten 2 to benchmark their readiness for the Singapore primary school Chinese syllabus.
