ELFA Preschool is pleased to announce that our centres in Hougang and Tampines have been selected to participate in the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA)’s Partner Operator (POP) scheme. To be appointed as ECDA’s Partner Operator, preschools must have a proven track record of delivering quality services and meeting specific quality criteria, such as the SPARK certification. This recognition reflects our long-standing commitment to providing quality early childhood education.

With ELFA’s inclusion in ECDA’s POP scheme, families can enjoy enhanced affordability starting from January 2026. At the same time, they will continue to benefit from the high standards of care, teaching, and bilingual learning that define the ELFA experience.

Developing foundational coding skills while using a fun, interactive robot, Botley, to explore basic programming concepts
For more than two decades, ELFA has developed a reputation in nurturing confident, well-rounded learners through a holistic and bilingual approach. Children’s well-being forms the foundation of our programme. Nutritious meals planned by our in-house nutritionist support healthy physical and cognitive development, while purposeful physical activities keep children active and engaged. We also uphold stringent safety and hygiene practices, complemented by clear and timely communication channels that offer parents visibility and insight into their children’s development throughout the day.

A defining feature of ELFA’s curriculum is its strong Mandarin-English story-based bilingual foundation, which is unique amongst the POP space. Through integrated thematic learning, children develop literacy, numeracy, creative expression, character and moral values. Our educators guide them through hands-on exploration and meaningful learning experiences that foster curiosity, resilience, and confidence. These opportunities strengthen language skills and nurture self-assurance as children express and showcase their abilities.

Beyond academics, ELFA emphasises the arts, music, cultural learning, and purposeful play to develop well-rounded learners. These experiences cultivate social-emotional awareness, creativity, communication skills, and a lifelong love for learning — ensuring every child is well prepared for primary school and future learning environments.

We look forward to welcoming more families into our community and continuing to nurture children through a caring, bilingual, and developmentally rich environment.
