Children from Elfa Serangoon’s K2 graduation class of 2019 had their K2 Overnight Bonding Camp at their centre on 4 October to bond and try out the various skills they had learned. Self-help skills were put to the test as the K2 campers started their day with a healthy breakfast of Cheerios and milk. After that, they made their way to SuperPrk @ Suntec City where their skills were “tested” in basketball, soccer, obstacle course, ninja course and more. It was excellent way for the children bond as they competed and supported each other at the same time.
More bonding experiences happened as the children went back to the centre. They watched a movie and took part in various art and bonding activities, such as making slime. The K2 campers also had their final activity of pitching their own tent for the overnight stay. The children had the chance to display their daily living skills such as having their meals, bathing, laying their mattresses and more. It was truly an eventful day for our K2 graduating class of 2019 as they learned to be independent throughout the camp.
