ELFA’s graduation concerts were held in November 2020 to celebrate the graduating cohort of Kindergarten Two (K2) children. For the first time in history, the graduation concerts were held virtually across our preschools in Pandan Valley and Serangoon, in adherence to safe distancing measures. While the concerts were presented in a wholly different format, our children and their families still beamed with pride on the momentous day. Family members were invited to view the concert via the online platform from the safety of their homes; while the young ones put up stellar performances refined through countless practices.
Even as the new concert format brought on challenges such as a smaller performance area, at the same time, it allowed fresh segments to be introduced to the concert programme. A special parent dedication segment was an emotional experience as parents shared their heartfelt words congratulating their children of their achievements and encouraging them to take on their upcoming primary school journey boldly.

Class of 2020 received their graduation certificates from Mrs Angeline Teo, cluster head of ELFA Preschool.
The concerts’ highlight was our graduates’ showcase of their multi-talents through a series of spectacular performances. From poetry, tongue twister, song and dance to Chinese and English speech and drama, the young ones wowed the audience with their sleek delivery. Through the performances, we witnessed the resilience and the ability of the young ones to learn from a tender age. These performance items are a testament to ELFA’s integrated bilingual curriculum and programmes that effectively prepare preschoolers with a strong headstart in education and life.
