Bringing together the spirit of Father’s Day and the excitement of dragon boat racing, ELFA Preschool @ Hougang celebrated fathers and father figures through hands-on cultural activities, play, and precious bonding moments.
Every paddle, every smile, every moment together. Building precious memories with Dad in our little dragon boat adventure.
Our Infant Care families kicked off the festivities with a delightful Daddy-and-Baby Dragon Boat Race. Each father and little one paddled in their own makeshift dragon boat. Though tiny hands may not have held the paddles, every giggle, cheer, and shared smile reflected the special bond between father and child.
The celebration continued with our ELFA children, who welcomed their daddies with a heartwarming performance dedicated especially to them. Their beaming smiles and enthusiastic singing set the stage for a morning of connection and fun. An energetic Zumba session soon had everyone moving, laughing, and enjoying the moment.
Fathers and children then embarked on two exciting dragon boat-themed challenges that encouraged teamwork, communication, and perseverance. With every paddle stroke and every puzzle solved, they cheered one another on and strengthened their connection through shared effort.
Together, they discovered that the greatest victories were not found at the finish line, but in the memories created side by side.
Every dad has a little kid in his heart—ready to laugh, play, and set off on adventures with the ones he loves most.
The morning ended on a touching note as the children proudly presented their handmade gifts to their daddies. From personalised books and custom-designed caps to beautifully decorated photo frames, each creation was lovingly crafted to express two simple yet meaningful words: “Thank you.”
The joy on every father’s face was a beautiful reminder that the simplest handmade gifts often become the most treasured keepsakes.
