Children 3 to 6 years are most unlikely to have the chance to help their parents in the kitchen. At ELFA Preschool @ Serangoon on 14 June 2019, the childcare children had the most unforgettable moments of their lives when they spent Father’s Day with their daddies “cooking” up a storm.

The event kicked off with the children expressing their appreciation and love for their father’s with dancing and singing performances.

After that, it was Master Chef Challenge” time. In this challenge, the fathers and their children were paired to prepare snacks such as sandwiches, salads and other goodies with prepared ingredients. While the judge went around to taste the food that was prepared, they were ushered to attend the “Nurturing Kindness and Cleanliness at Home” talk presented by the Singapore Kindness Movement.

Although only three winners were picked, everyone had a jolly good time having fun and bonding.

Those in infant class were not forgotten. They were joined by their daddies in a canvas painting session. Laughter filled the room as the babies move about the room with paint all over their bodies.

Father’s Day at Elfa was wrapped up with the presentation of prizes to the ‘Father and Child look-alike’ as well as the winners of the “Master Chef Challenge”. It was truly an event to remember as the daddies and their loved ones made memories in different ways.
