ELFA Preschool @ Serangoon welcomed the Year of the Rat with meaningful activities on 23 January 2020, Thursday. Exciting activities were prepared to allow the children to better understand the traditions of this celebration. They learned more about this festive season through exciting stories prepared by the teachers. Chinese New Year music filled the air as the children performed for their peers and teachers.

On 7 February 2020, Friday, the 15th day of the Chinese New Year, children at ELFA Preschool @ Serangoon celebrated 元宵节 (yuan xiao jie) to mark the end of the lunar new year celebration. Kindergarten 2 children performed a lion dance, accompanied by drums, to bring out the essence of this joyous celebration. It was truly a wonderful experience for all the children and teachers at school.
