ELFA teachers from all the 3 centres took a day off to attend professional development day held at the Yio Chu Kang campus of KLC International Institute (KLC) on 28 June 2019.

The programme included talks and workshops in which they learned about positive mindset & mental health of Teachers in the childcare environment.
More importantly, they had the opportunity to know each other better and bond as a family of educators.
ELFA teachers relived their childhood in teambuilding games as part of the preschools’ Professional Development and Bonding Day 2019 on 28 June 2019
“It was a wonderful opportunity to meet our ELFA colleagues in a fun yet educational setting. The topic “Positive Mindset” was very important as it acknowledges the stress that our preschool educators are under these days such as increased workload, demands from parents and the children. The speaker managed to identify the trigger points the teacher faces daily and how to handle it. I thought it was a very enlightening and fruitful session,” said Ms Cynthia Nonis, Cluster Principal.
Dr Hu Rong shared about the importance of managing Mental Health in a childcare setting.
